In this trappy contest, marginal preference is for ESTEHWADH, who shed the maiden tag in convincing style at Ffos Las last Friday. The son of Profitable may be able to continue his ascendancy and gets the nod to defy a penalty. Star Player has been edging towards a first career win and rates the most immediate danger, while Hurtle completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Estehwadh 2nd Star Player 3rd Hurtle

COOL PARTY left a lasting impression when denied by the narrowest of margins on his racecourse debut at Lingfield and the son of Postponed can go one better now. He put clear daylight between himself and the third, and can shed the maiden tag at the second time of asking. Native Melody gave a good account when third at Chelmsford on her first start and must be respected, while newcomer Kyogo can follow them home.
Prediction : 1st Cool Party 2nd Native Melody 3rd Kyogo

ELOSO relished the step up in trip to 1m2f when brushing aside his rivals with consummate ease at Brighton last time out. The son of Kodi Bear may be able to continue his ascendancy over this distance and gets the nod to land the spoils. Genesius only found one rival too strong at Yarmouth on his latest outing and merits consideration, while Timesoftheessence is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Eloso 2nd Genesius 3rd Timesoftheessence

SPECTATRICE showed some promise during a three-race juvenile campaign and Sir Mark Prescott's filly is open to any amount of improvement on her handicap debut, with the step up in trip likely to aid her cause. Nonsuch Lad got off the mark on his most recent start at Doncaster and he warrants plenty of respect off a 4lb higher mark. Gilbert faded over an extended 1m3f at Windsor but could bounce back now returned to this distance.
Prediction : 1st Spectatrice 2nd Nonsuch Lad 3rd Gilbert

BOOGIE TIME has dropped down the ratings this season and bounced back with a decent second at Hamilton in June. He remains on the same mark and this could be an ideal opportunity for him to get back to winning ways as he makes his debut for Mark Loughnane. Mellys Flyer returned to form when scoring at Newmarket and he is expected to be in the mix along with Blissful Song.
Prediction : 1st Boogie Time 2nd Mellys Flyer 3rd Blissful Song

BONUS bounced back to form with a comfortable victory at Ffos Las and Jim Boyle's gelding is fancied to follow up off a 6lb higher mark. Hector Loza has been a little disappointing since a C&D triumph three starts ago, but can go well on his Epsom return. Sir Titan is another who is proven at this venue and could also get involved if putting his best foot forward.
Prediction : 1st Bonus 2nd Hector Loza 3rd Sir Titan

This doesn't look any stronger than the race BEAR TO DREAM landed at Brighton earlier in the month and although she's now 7lb higher, she won with some authority so is expected to follow up if in the same form. Whistledown is 1-1 here and, in a race lacking in depth, she can get involved off top weight. Voodoo Ray is still relatively unexposed and, off a mark of 47, he's one to keep a close eye on.
Prediction : 1st Bear To Dream 2nd Whistledown 3rd Voodoo Ray
