New Approach filly COUNTRY PYLE should still have more to come for William Muir. She made the breakthrough impressively at Goodwood up in trip back in June and while she has been beaten twice since she has run two creditable races. She was behind Perfect Alibi and Sea Sylph at Newbury but perhaps that just came too soon following that Goodwood win. They are both solid yardsticks though so it’s solid form anyway. She was then an excellent second in the Racing League at Lingfield with the field well strung out. She remains unexposed especially over 2 miles and this looks a good opportunity for her to resume her progress now. Breccia reacted well to first-time cheekpieces to win at Wolverhampton and looks the obvious danger off the back of that. Eagle Court also won on the AW last time and has to be respected as well as he might not be too harshly treated.
