HELLO DEIRA sets the standard based on his two runner-up efforts at Salisbury and, despite being turned over at short odds on his latest outing, this appears to be an excellent opportunity for him to shed the maiden tag. Revenite has been gelded since his debut at Goodwood in April and he is capable of stepping forward from that performance, while Pinafore and Nammos appeal most of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Hello Deira 2nd Revenite 3rd Pinafore

CITY OF KINGS was on the back foot from an early stage having missed the break on his racecourse debut at Sandown. The son of Kingman stayed on well in the circumstances to finish fifth and, if breaking on terms with the opposition, he may be able to put that experience to best use. Onslow Gardens ran with plenty of promise when runner-up at Newmarket and he is likely to enter calculations once again. Paddington is a fascinating contender for Aidan O'Brien, having cost 420,000 euros, while Burnish, who is related to Group winners, and Lion Tamer are other newcomers of considerable interest.
Prediction : 1st City Of Kings 2nd Onslow Gardens 3rd Paddington

Alseyoob won on her first start at Newmarket before disappointing at the same venue when stepped up into Group 3 company. The drop in class warrants her plenty of respect, but the vote goes to DOWALLY. She was second on debut at Kempton and is likely to progress with the stiffer test of stamina at this track likely to benefit her. Red Riding Hood is bred to be smart, being out of a Group 1 winner, and she is respected along with Scenic, whose dam is a half-sister to English King and top broodmare Prudenzia.
Prediction : 1st Dowally 2nd Alseyoob 3rd Red Riding Hood

AL MARMAR didn't get the breaks when staying on late in a valuable handicap at York last month and, granted a clearer run this time around, he must hold strong claims. The booking of Ryan Moore is another plus and he is narrowly preferred to his stablemate Carolus Magnus, who ran very well here in a similar contest at the Shergar Cup meeting last month. Colour Image and United Front have the form to be there or thereabouts as well.
Prediction : 1st Al Marmar 2nd Carolus Magnus 3rd Colour Image

A tentative vote goes to REBEL TERRITORY, who wasn't disgraced in a strong renewal of the Golden Mile and he remains unexposed on turf after just seven runs. A winner of three of his last five outings, Amanda Perrett's charge has little miles on the clock this season. That bodes well against Dubai Mirage, who has run some fine races this campaign, although his limitations seemed to be exposed over C&D last time out. Greatgadian who must also enter calculations along with Bopedro.
Prediction : 1st Rebel Territory 2nd Dubai Mirage 3rd Bopedro

George Rooke has struck up a good partnership with RAINBOW MIRAGE and they combined to win their fourth race of the year at Windsor last time. The daughter of Garswood has since left Mark Rimell to join the Richard Hughes team and that shouldn't halt her momentum. Miss Bella Brand has held her form well throughout the summer and should be thereabouts, while Love Trophy Power and Torvi are a couple more to consider.
Prediction : 1st Rainbow Mirage 2nd Miss Bella Brand 3rd Love Trophy Power

Love De Vega takes a drop in grade after coming home fifth off this mark at Newmarket and he could go well, but preference is for the lightly-raced MIDNIGHT MOLL. A debut winner over this trip at Newmarket, she weakened late on over the mile at the same track in July but should be far better suited by the return to seven furlongs. Majestic Fighter, Twelfth Knight and Ideal Guest are others for the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Midnight Moll 2nd Love De Vega 3rd Majestic Fighter
