U S S Constitution made a pleasing start to his career when beaten by just half a length at Sandown and he should be bang on the scene once again, but the slight preference is for last-time-out winner OJ LIFESTYLE. Gary Moore's charge was sent off an astronomical price for that win at Newbury and more improvement can be expected today. Connemara Coast makes the most appeal of the remainder.Prediction : 1st Oj Lifestyle 2nd U S S Constitution 3rd Connemara Coast

Urban Sprawl is likely to run his race for the Johnston team and, after a win last time, he must be respected. However, he's been raised 2lb for that head success which may leave him vulnerable to some better treated rivals. Therefore, the nod goes to Godolphin's COURAGEOUS KNIGHT, who has been in good form of late and this doesn't look out of his reach. Charlie Appleby's charge was a good third of 14 over 7f at York last time. Sunningdale completes the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Courageous Knight 2nd Urban Sprawl 3rd Sunningdale

Fresh seems to enjoy these big field, competitive handicaps and he showcased that last time when he won over C&D. The form has worked out well with Documenting, who reopposes, subsequently winning, so the five-year-old should offer another bold bid. ARATUS was also in behind on that occasion but, off much better terms this time, Clive Cox's charge can reverse the form. Kevin Stott's mount was beaten by just three lengths and arrives here 6lb better off. Inver Park could also be thereabouts. Prediction : 1st Aratus 2nd Fresh 3rd Inver Park

With five in the field, Godolphin look to have a stranglehold on this race, but William Haggas might have the fly in the ointment in the shape of LA YAKEL. He was an impressive winner of a novice race at Southwell when upped in trip for the first time and, on handicap debut, he looks the one to side with. First Ruler won on his first handicap start when getting the better of Etonian here in July, and he's a big player with Ryan Moore in the plate, while Al Nafir looks capable of bouncing back from a disappointing showing at York.Prediction : 1st La Yakel 2nd First Ruler 3rd Al Nafir
16:20 Ascot
CRYSTAL CAPRICE still looked well ahead of the handicapper when winning at Goodwood in July and, even off this 6lb higher mark, Sir Michael Stoute's filly will be tough to beat here if continuing her progress. Tarrabb is respected in pursuit of the hat-trick after following up her win here with another at Haydock last time off a 7lb lower mark, but the one to chase the selection home might be Beautiful Secret after she made all at Yarmouth.Prediction : 1st Crystal Caprice 2nd Beautiful Secret 3rd Tarrabb
16:55 Ascot
WILLEM TWEE has looked a colt to follow after following up his maiden victory with two smooth wins in handicap company and, although this mark demands more, it remains to be seen where the ceiling lies for this son of Ribchester. Mums Tipple disappointed at York last time but could bounce back here, while Silver Samurai finished ahead of that rival when finishing third at York and he should be on the premises once again.Prediction : 1st Willem Twee 2nd Mums Tipple 3rd Silver Samurai

Trainer Clive Cox won this last season with Mine's A Double and is looking for more of the same with GET IT, who returns to the minimum trip after weakening when 12th over a furlong further at Windsor. He is better than that and could prove good enough to hold off the attentions of Water Of Leith, who was repeatedly denied a clear run at Carlisle and deserves a chance in this better race. Blue De Vega has won over C&D twice and also warrants plenty of respect.Prediction : 1st Get It 2nd Water Of Leith 3rd Blue De Vega
