She has a heady mixture of speed and class in her pedigree and, with her stable in good form, she might make a winning debut.

Mutalaaqy is lightly raced for his age with just the one start last December, when a promising third here over an extended mile, but his fitness has to be taken on trust after eight months off the track and FLORAL SPLENDOUR is preferred. An easy maiden winner at Haydock, she flew too high when stepped up to Listed class at the same track and this looks a much easier assignment. She may get back to winning ways, while newcomers Queen Of Ipanema and Mars Magic are ones to watch for future reference.

A case can be made for several of these, including the Jamie Osborne-trained Amarillo Gold, who secured a comfortable win on his most recent outing over 1m last month. However, the reopposing SWEET FORTUNE was rated 6lb higher than her rival on that occasion and was beaten by a length and three-quarters. The latter is now 4lb better off on this occasion and she could turn that form around, especially as Sam Feilden takes an additional 7lb off her back. Man Made Of Smoke completes the shortlist.

Morty is respected in pursuit of the hat-trick for David O'Meara, but FOR PEAT'S SAKE looks the one to side with. Michael Appleby's charge was just headed by Morty when they met at Chelmsford nine days ago and, although that rival has come out and won again since, the combination of a handy swing in the weights, along with a better draw, makes him appeal most. Admirable Lad completes the shortlist in his search for a hat-trick of victories.

Everything points toward a big surge of improvement from ALDABRA on handicap debut. Sir Mark Prescott's filly returns from an absence with first-time blinkers enlisted and, over this new trip, it would be no surprise if the daughter of Bobby's Kitten takes a big step forward on what she has shown in three underwhelming starts in novice company last year. Miss Clementine disappointed at Beverley last time after winning there on her penultimate start, but she looks the type to bounce back, while Red Bond is another rival entitled to respect.
