GYTO's Sunday Value Tip is a 20/1 shot at York.
16:40 York
This is fiercely competitive but then so is most of the racing on Sunday so I still think it is worth chancing SHALADAR at 20/1. This 3yo has won two of his last five starts and I thought that win at Hamilton on penultimate start was impressive for the grade. He was held up in rear but really picked up well when asked and stayed on strongly at the finish. He only missed by a short head following a 4lb rise at Leicester last month and that form has been franked since with the winner Temper Trap and even the seventh Astral Beau going in since.
He was keen enough that day so if settling better here up another 2lb I think he’s going to run a big race. Samuel Spade impressed winning well at Haydock last time and he has to be feared but he is no certainty to back that up off a 7lb rise. Arch Moon is a horse I’ve backed many times in the past and he looks pretty solid in terms of a place again.
