Dawn View has a decent record here and could build on her second in a small field at this track last month, while Celestial Point is another course winner who is entitled to respect off only 1lb higher than her last winning mark.

Georgia Madeleine won well here last month with MADE OF LIR back in third, but there is reason to believe Archie Watson's filly can reverse the form. Beauld As Brass didn't pull up any trees in his first three starts, but he can go well on nursery debut.

Inspirited is likely to be a warm order here, but Marco Botti's colt was beaten at odds-on here last month, and it might be worth siding with JIVE KING to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking. David Evans' runner was just denied on the line at Chepstow last week, but they were well clear of the third and a reproduction of that effort might be good enough. The Yodeller looks the most interesting of the two newcomers.

Tony Carroll saddled the winner of this contest 12 months ago and he appears to have another cracking chance with RED ALERT this time around. The eight-year-old readily won a selling handicap over 6f here last time and a 4lb rise might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Big Bard is also proven here and warrants respect following a pleasing effort at Lingfield, while handicap debutant Riley's Positano cannot be ruled out either.

As in the previous race, Tony Carroll won this contest last year and he could strike again courtesy of TEMUR KHAN. The Dansili gelding looked unlucky when denied a C&D hat-trick two weeks ago (badly hampered over 1f out) and another bold bid looks assured. Silver Bubble arrives following a track-and-trip success and she must enter calculations, while It's How We Roll and Hellavaheart are other in-form players with claims.

ELECTRESS arrives following a disappointing run on the all-weather last month. A drop in trip looks set to suit her, given she weakened late on during her latest outing over 1m4f, and she makes her stable debut off a career-low mark of 72. She remains unexposed and open to improvement, but a stiffer stamina test could see Wendell's Lad sneak further into contention. Rhubarb Bikini completes the shortlist.

Haveoneyerself recorded a cosy win on his latest outing over this C&D and a 3lb raised mark for that may not be enough to stop him continuing in good form. However, preference is for the consistent STREET PARADE, who arrives following a promising third at this track last month. There is likely more to come, especially given he was denied by a nose on his penultimate outing. Lethal Angel also merits consideration.
