Badri has won two of his last three including over C&D so has to be greatly respected here but the market certainly hasn’t missed him and it might just be worth opposing. I’m going to give WATER OF LEITH another chance back up to 6f for Jim Goldie. I’m convinced he would have had this race on his radar for a while and he hasn’t had much luck since winning over this trip at Ayr at the start of last month. He ran down a blind alley at Carlisle before finishing on the heels of the leaders at Windsor and then got going too late again at Ascot. He still has potential off this mark being just a four-year-old and 14/1 looks way too big to me. Of the rest Dark Angel colt Watchya has won three of his last five and has been freshened up since that Bath win. The 5lb rise in a tougher race was enough to put me off for now.
