This is a really good renewal but I’m still keen to play UMM KULTHUM as I think she looks good value at 5/1. She is still lightly raced and showed a great attitude to make a winning return at Newmarket back in April. She had the likes of Flotus and Gale Force Maya trailing in her wake that day so it’s very good form. She was a no show at Royal Ascot and then looked a little unlucky at York in the Summer Stakes where she was slowly away. She has been freshened up since and goes back up to 7f which should suit so I think everything points towards a big run. Adaay In Asia is on a terrific run and impressed again to defy notably market weakness but this softer ground asks a different question. Heredia has looked an awkward ride since winning the Sandringham so has a bit to prove. Novemba is also noted as she hasn’t been disgraced recently and remains lightly raced too.
