I really liked that debut run from JAMES MCHENRY where he missed out by just a length and a half. The winner Alpha Capture had a run under his belt and has since got within a short head of victory in a valuable sales race at Doncaster last week so that form has been strongly franked since. He was held up at Carlisle but made good headway and managed to pull a length clear from the third with the field well strung out in behind. He should improve plenty and I’d have him favourite over Tabaretta. The latter does look the danger but he didn’t look the most straightforward when second at Salisbury and they have reached for first-time cheekpieces here. In These Shoes is another well bred sort in here and she also went close on debut. She can improve so looks to be best of the rest. Lope De Vega colt Royal Rhyme looks the most interesting of the debutants so worth keeping an eye on in the market.
