Unexposed Frankel filly REMEMBERING looks to have found a good opportunity on handicap debut to win again. She shaped with clear promise when third to Emily Upjohn on debut at Sandown and stepped forward to go close at Redcar. Given time since she returned with a win at Catterick stepping up to a mile and a half for the first time and an opening mark of 79 may well prove lenient. She is back down to a mile and a quarter here with a first-time hood applied and if Tom Marquand can get her settled then she is going to take a lot of beating. She showed how inexperienced she still is going off hard last time but still had the engine to sustain the gallop. If she can channel her ability in the right way here then she is clearly well handicapped. The danger is probably Misty Dancer who won at Goodwood and likely has more to come too.

I thought LUMACHO showed a nice attitude to get her head in front at Chepstow last time. She looked to enjoy the drop back to the minimum trip and ran on well to do it with a bit to spare. She has to carry a penalty here but obviously is open to further improvement after just 4 starts and if she takes to polytrack will likely prove hard to beat under Dane O’Neill. Senor Pockets has a similar profile winning over C&D when last seen. He was always well positioned there though and up 5lb might find this tougher but is still respected. I can actually see Byefornow launching a bigger threat as the handicapper has given her another hand and she didn’t shape badly when fourth at Wolverhampton last month. I expect her to get competitive here but perhaps just coming off second best at the business end. Universal Grace best of the rest now handicapping.
