The son of Twilight Son shaped with promise at Chepstow on his debut last month and with improvement likely, he's expected to mount a serious challenge. Rosette has hit the crossbar on her last two starts but she remains of significant interest, along with Elusive Truth. Scarlet and Powdering make their respective debuts and market support would make them of interest.

TEPHI was a lot sharper on her second career outing, having attempted to make every yard of the running at Lingfield when denied in the final strides. George Boughey's filly has a good draw in stall two which she may use to her advantage here with further progress possible. Impeachment has been competitive on all three starts to date and she is likely to enter calculations once again, while Cariad Angel, a 70,000-euro purchase, and Pendlebury Lane appeal most of the newcomers.

However, DR RIO is a far more appealing option for win purposes as he won with a bit in hand over C&D 17 days ago. With just 3lb more to carry, he's a must for consideration. Wild Thunder (a stablemate of George Ridsdale) finished one place behind the selection when they met here in June and underpins a strong challenge from his yard. Tele Red and Just Hiss are a couple of others who help make this an intriguing race for the grade.
