Time Flies By reverts to hurdles after falling over fences at Bangor and might put up most resistance, although Harlem Soul also warrants respect.

With just the four lining up for this contest, a chance can be taken with the Joe Tizzard-trained MASCAT, who sports first time cheekpieces on his chasing bow. A step back to the minimum trip is unlikely to pose any issue and he should have a say in proceedings. Byzantine Empire seems his biggest threat for a reputable stable, while Geni De La Cour is another to note.

LADY JANE P makes her stable debut for Adrian Wintle following a decent third on her most recent outing in January and she can make her presence felt if ready to roll off a break. The daughter of Walk In The Park kept on well for second on her return last year, so a good showing does not look out of the question in this. The grade-dropping Nifty Getaway seems a threat on her hurdling bow, while Ya Know Yaseff completes the shortlist.

With most of the runners having questions to answer, APPRECIATE seems to be the most solid option if leaving a disappointing Flat run at Wolverhampton behind him. Milton Harris' gelding has finished second on his last two hurdling starts and had rattled off a four-timer prior to that, so, if in anything like that form, he appears the one to beat. Benandgone is still lightly raced and he would be one to consider if ready to go after a break, while Canal Rocks could go well if bouncing back from a poor run on the level at Ffos Las.

MINELLA VOUCHER just got the better of Joey Steel here earlier this month and he is weighted to confirm superiority over that rival if in the same form. Christian Williams' runner should give it another good go with Jack Tudor taking over in the saddle, but it would be a surprise if he managed to turn the tables with Alex Dunn's veteran. This looks the weakest race that L'Air Du Vent has contested for some time and he is capable of a decent showing.

CHARMING BERRY bumped into a smart horse of Alan King's on his racecourse debut at Huntingdon back in May and, in this weaker contest, Alex French's grey shades the vote to go one better. Letterston Lady won well at Worcester last month and she is likely to be competitive under a penalty, while Eire Street is a fascinating recruit from Ireland for the Thomas Gallagher team.
