Royal Champion finished third on his latest outing at Windsor and he is of interest along with Stormy Antarctic, who may benefit from stepping back up in trip.

A fiendishly difficult puzzle to solve as always but it can pay to side with the improving SNASH, whose stable needs no introduction when it comes to this contest. The son of Markaz didn't do himself justice when slowly away in the Great St Wilfrid, and he is better judged on a comfortable success over C&D in July. Behind him on that occasion were Aberama Gold (second) and Bernardo O'Reilly (third), who remain difficult to win with but could get involved. Lovely Breeze has a 5lb penalty to overcome for a convincing victory at Goodwood, while Emperor Spirit and Hyperfocus are others who arrive in great shape.

QUEEN ME produced an excellent performance to fill the runner-up spot in the Lowther at York on just her second career start. Kevin Ryan's filly gained an official rating of 106 following that display, which leaves the daughter of Dubawi 8lb clear of her nearest rival. This represents a drop in class and with further improvement likely, she can come out on top. All The Time was narrowly denied in the Dick Poole at Salisbury and demands the utmost respect, along with Bonny Angel, who landed back-to-back victories in impression fashion when successful at Doncaster last week. Maria Branwell shouldn't be underestimated either.

Star Shield has been knocking on the door of late and the drop in trip may aid his cause, while the hat-trick seeking Judgment Call and the unexposed Star Zinc are others to consider.
