Having been well backed on her last two starts at Goodwood, it would be a surprise if SEEOLA didn't turn out to be better than an opening mark of 69 in time. Therefore, a chance is taken on her to make a winning handicap debut, with this longer trip surely in her favour. Turner Girl ran respectably under a penalty at Southwell last month, but coming back in trip doesn't look ideal for her, so preference is for Teagarden Jazz to chase the selection home.

Some sort of a case can be made for most of the runners, but it might be worth taking a chance on MILLIONAIRE WALTZ to bounce back to form here. Ben Haslam's five-year-old is 4-9 at this track and, off just 1lb higher than his C&D win in March, he can go close if putting his best foot forward. This stiff mile should suit Cabinet Maker, who wasn't beaten far at Kempton last week, so he is fancied to fare best of the rest ahead of the handicap debutant Atlanna.

BLANCHLAND was just denied last time when second over 7f at Ascot and a repeat of that effort would see him go close in this contest. Jane Chapple-Hyam's colt ran on strongly in the final furlong on that occasion and the step up to a mile is likely to be a big positive. King Me made a pleasing start to his career when runner-up at Haydock and he commands respect, while Maasai Mara could also make his presence felt.

BURNING EMOTION had been knocking on the door before getting her head back in front, when she was last seen over this distance at Thirsk, and Julie Camacho's charge is entitled to great respect in this field. The three-year-old has been handed a 4lb rise in the ratings for that half-length success, but she won more comfortably than the winning margin suggests and this mark may not halt her progression. Piastrella tends to run her race and another bold bid can be expected, while Serenity completes the shortlist.

The slight preference is for last-time-out winner PEACHEY CARNEHAN, who has been raised just 2lb for his success over 6f at Chepstow. Michael Mullineaux's charge battled well to score on that occasion and this step up in trip doesn't appear likely to be an issue. How Bizarre is a consistent performer and is likely to enter the reckoning, while Hilary's Boy is another to note.

Cool Lightning's dam won at 6f on her debut and she was a decent performer too, so the daughter of Exceed And Excel is worth monitoring in the market. The safest option, though, looks to be PINK PARFAIT, who should have learned a lot from her debut at Catterick earlier in the month and she might be open to more progress than some of her rivals. It Is Now shouldn't be far away, with the step back up in trip appearing to be a positive move.

RAMON DI LORIA ran a race full of promise when finishing third at Carlisle and, with a step back up in trip looking ideal, he may be able to land his second success of the season. Robasta may give the selection most to think about if the drop in trip doesn't inconvenience him, with the consistent Majeski Man another to consider if proving as effective now returned to the all-weather.
