Atrium was one and a quarter lengths in front of him that day and he has subsequently scored at Doncaster. Raised just 1lb, the three-year-old has a great chance of getting his head in front. Montassib and Boardman are also likely to be thereabouts.

The son of Ribchester has been dropped 3lb for that effort and may be able to get his head in front now stepping back in trip. Hyperfocus boasts an impressive record at this venue and rates the most immediate danger, while Total Commitment is another to consider.

SELF PRAISE was a respectable sixth in a valuable auction race at Newmarket last month and was surprisingly dropped 3lb for that effort. The Hugo Palmer-trained colt looks to have solid credentials in what looks a trappy affair. This extra furlong may bring out some improvement in Al Khazneh and he isn't dismissed, while you can also make a good case for Nanga Parbat.

The David O'Meara-trained ANIMATO was last seen finishing third to Hoo Ya Mal in Group 3 company last month and although that rival failed to fire in the St Leger next time, there appears nothing of that quality in this line-up and he gets the vote. The stiffer test looks sure to suit Forgivable, who was a respectable runner-up at Redcar recently. Prydwen hasn't been beaten far on his last two starts and a return to turf may suit.
