RED MAPLE took a big step forward to get off the mark over fences at Market Rasen last month and, with the likelihood of more to come, Jonjo O'Neill's charge looks capable of taking a 4lb rise in his stride. The race that Regaby finished second in at Stratford last month is working out well, so off the same mark he should be considered, while Chase The Wind would be a danger to all if ready to go following a six-month absence.

The progressive De Barley Basket is likely to prove popular after an easy win at Uttoxeter 17 days ago, but the Ben Pauling-trained inmate has a 9lb rise to contend with, so another career-best performance will be required. A chance is taken on DEAD RIGHT, who finished fourth over the smaller obstacles last month at Bangor and that pipe-opener should stand him in good stead for this afternoon's contest.
