Mawj was a bit disappointing behind Swingalong in the Lowther last time but it would be no surprise to see her bounce back today, while Lezoo is another to note.

BLACKBEARD held off Persian Force to score in the Prix Morny at Deauville a month ago and that performance suggests that the son of No Nay Never is still improving. If that is the case then he may be hard to stop in this competitive event. In the end Marshman was well enough held by Noble Style in the Gimcrack last time but he gave that rival plenty to think about. The aforementioned Persian Force is a consistent colt who is likely to be thereabouts once again, while Mischief Magic and The Antarctic complete the shortlist.

In what appears to be a warm Cambridgeshire, trends can prove a good starting point to narrow the list down.
