FRANCO GRASSO can be expected to be sharper after his close-up third at Kempton last week. This looks an easier task and Peter Chapple-Hyam's four-year-old will be hard to resist if the race doesn't come around too quickly. Heathen returned from a wind operation with a fair performance at Beverley and if the fitting of a hood initiates further improvement, he can give the selection a run for his money. Purple Ice has C&D experience and rates as best of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Franco Grasso 2nd Heathen 3rd Purple Ice

SHE'S GOT BOTTLE's style of running virtually guarantees a strong pace will be the order of the day, and she is very capable of slipping the field. Under today's pilot, Roger Fell's filly did just that to spring a surprise in a Beverley classified event and proved it was no fluke by following up in handicap company there. Oscar Doodle is the obvious threat after a couple of runner-up finishes, although International Law also warrants consideration.
Prediction : 1st Shes Got Bottle 2nd Oscar Doodle 3rd International Law

There's little doubting that OBELIX, who cost 300,000 euros earlier in the year, sets the standard of those with experience and he can get off the mark at the third time of asking. Dreams Adozen didn't get a clear run on his debut at Wolverhampton earlier in the month, so is a likely improver. Dubai Crystal is is out of an Oaks third so makes plenty of appeal on pedigree. She is the most striking of the three newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Obelix 2nd Dreams Adozen 3rd Dubai Crystal

BIPLANE seems to have been found an excellent opportunity to round out the hat-trick and although a 5lb rise for her latest win makes life harder, it will be a surprise if John Wainwright's filly doesn't go in again. Her biggest danger should be Key Look, who has remained in excellent form following a victory at Catterick three starts ago. La Feile looks most likely to chase them home.
Prediction : 1st Biplane 2nd Key Look 3rd La Feile

MR TREVOR didn't look in love with the heavy ground when well beaten at Catterick, but he was seeking a hat-trick that day so can be fancied to bounce back now returned to the all-weather. Afta Party was just denied at Southwell on his first start for Alice Haynes last week and, off the same rating, he looks the biggest danger, although Frankelio is lurking on a very dangerous mark if he can bounce back from a below-par effort over C&D.
Prediction : 1st Mr Trevor 2nd Afta Party 3rd Frankelio

Difficult to be too confident about any of these, but QUERCUS has run some solid races in defeat of late and can't be ruled out with Paul Hanagan in the saddle. Ballintoy Harbour is 1-1 here and did show a bit more when sixth at Southwell last time. She is the main danger to the selection, while it could also be worth keeping an eye on Dapper Man, who is a 14-time winner over this trip.
Prediction : 1st Quercus 2nd Ballintoy Harbour 3rd Dapper Man
