PURE CIRCLE caught the eye at Punchestown when not knocked about in a 7f maiden. She's been given a mark of 70 after that mid-division finish which looks workable. She was recently taken out of a race over 6f because of soft ground but that might work in her favour because this trip is likely to be more suitable. Johnny Murtagh won both Curragh nurseries at the weekend and Malacanne has to be greatly respected. He hasn't shaped badly at all in maidens and headgear goes on for this handicap debut. Reigles was a place in front of subsequent Curragh winner Mile End when fourth at Down Royal and will be more streetwise after that first run in a nursery.Prediction : 1st Pure Circle 2nd Malacanne 3rd Reigles

NATIVE QUEEN was runner-up over this trip on her seasonal reappearance at Navan and then had a luckless run at Fairyhouse. Her path was blocked several times in the straight before she ran on well to take third place. Stepping back up to 1m will suit and she can gain compensation. Vadiana is a half-sister to Girouette who won a Group 3 for Tracey Collins thirteen years ago. The daughter of Vadamos was fourth over 7f at Gowran on debut and can improve past the 71-rated Pilbara Gold who was two lengths in front of her. Solar Breeze is consistent but appears held on the form of her Fairyhouse run behind the selection.Prediction : 1st Native Queen 2nd Vadiana 3rd Pilbara Gold

WISHED couldn't go the gallop on handicap debut over 6f at Naas but stayed on strongly up the hill to finish fifth. He's been given plenty of time to mature since that promising effort in early July and will appreciate stepping up to 1m. He's back against his own age group too after taking on some gnarled older handicappers last time. Clarinbridge is one of only three previous winners in the line-up and can be forgiven a poor run on heavy ground at Cork. She landed a 7f handicap at Gowran in August and was runner-up over course and distance earlier in the season so clearly handles the track. Celtic Revival, fifth at Dundalk last month, showed up well when fourth over course and distance in June and was less than a length off Clarinbridge on that occasion.Prediction : 1st Wished 2nd Clarinbridge 3rd Celtic Revival

MARSA won for the third time in ten starts when beating a subsequent winner in a 7f contest at Gowran. This will be her first time to tackle 1m so her stamina will be tested, but she can race off the same mark and it looks worth taking a chance that she will see out the longer trip. Take My Hand has to race from 3lb out of the handicap but loves it here and should go well. She has a C&D victory to her name and was narrowly beaten on her latest visit in July. The five-year-old was returning from a break when again runner-up at Gowran and will be primed for a big run. Independent Expert snared a 7f Curragh handicap in May and has been placed on her last two starts. She's had a break since going down by just half a length over this trip at Killarney.Prediction : 1st Marsa 2nd Take My Hand 3rd Independent Expert

TEDDY BOY beat the reopposing Pillar by half a length over course and distance in April and is a lot better off at the weights on this occasion. He enjoyed his trip to the beach when second at Laytown and comes here in good shape. Pillar recorded his eighth career victory when scoring over 6f at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Seamie Heffernan got a good tune out of him there and the veteran has won around here before. He does, however, faces a tough task at the weights with the selection. Tai Sing Yeh is another stalwart of the Irish sprinting ranks and notched three wins early in the year. He wasn't beaten far over this trip at Dundalk last week and should give a good account of himself, although he was also due to run here on Wednesday.Prediction : 1st Teddy Boy 2nd Pillar 3rd Tai Sing Yeh

HAZY MEHMORY was runner-up over 1m1f at Gowran in May and went one better over a furlong further when beating a subsequent winner at Down Royal. She's been brought along quietly by connections who feel she'll stay this trip and make a better four-year-old. Magellan Strait has 4lb to find with the selection on these terms but is proven at the distance. He upset a better-fancied and useful stablemate at Limerick before chasing home a 90-rated rival at Roscommon. Global Energy has been disappointing since landing a Limerick handicap in April and his rating indicates that he faces a very stiff task. Prediction : 1st Hazy Mehmory 2nd Magellan Strait 3rd Global Energy

APRILS JOY is a useful dual-purpose mare and has a good record at this venue. She has won twice under both codes including a victory over 1m6f here and was third in a division of this contest a year ago. Runner-up in a big field at Navan when last seen on the Flat in October, she 's been running reasonably well over hurdles lately and her rider's 7lb claim will be an asset. Estepona Sun was touched off by stablemate Boom Boom Boom over 1m2f at Navan in July and has since been runner-up three times in maiden hurdles. This trip might be a little further than ideal. Joven De Corazon was second at a huge price on handicap debut at Roscommon and is a lot less exposed than most of these. Prediction : 1st Aprils Joy 2nd Estepona Sun 3rd Joven De Corazon
17:35 Bellewstown
FIRSTMAN just failed to get up over 1m2f at Down Royal on Monday and is due to go up 2lb in future handicaps. He landed a Roscommon contest over 1m4f last month and will be well suited by a return to that distance. Ben Coen's mount is drawn on the inner and beside him in stall two is likely danger Boom Boom Boom. He was strong at the finish when beating stablemate Estepona Sun over 1m2f at Navan in July and the latter bids to advertise that form in the first division. Intend was a comfortable winner over 1m6f at Navan and was just collared over this trip on the all-weather last week. He's another who is ahead of the handicapper having been raised 5lb for that latest run which clearly makes him a danger to all.Prediction : 1st Firstman 2nd Boom Boom Boom 3rd Intend
