Quid Pro Quo has looked promising winning both starts over hurdles but he has won both in a canter and is yet to face a stern challenge. He may well pass with flying colours but I’m a little bit suspect as to how much he will find off the bridle so I think there is value in opposing here. DEEPER BLUE looks a nice horse as well and I thought that was a nice performance to win readily at Exeter back in March, defying a penalty in the process. Harry Fry seems to have his yard pretty forward and he could be in for a big season. Presentandcounting put in a polished display back over hurdles at Worcester and also has to enter calculations with race fitness on side. Scipion was entitled to win as he did here on final start last campaign and is another one in here with a bright enough future. I think this could be quite a good race.
