14:15 Warwick

This looks set to be dominated by two smart bumper performers from last season in the shape of Notnowlinda and LUTINBELLA (best priced at 11/10) and preference goes to the latter based on her course form. The Fergal O’Brien trained six-year-old finished 2nd in two bumpers at this course and last year before getting off the mark in February here when she won a bumper by 4 ¾ lengths on heavy ground.

Lutinebella outran odds of 50/1 to finish 3rd in the Grade 2 Mares’ Bumper at Aintree on her final start last season and if she can reproduce that form on her hurdling debut then she should prove hard to beat.

Lutinbella - 1pt @ 11/10

15:10 Thurles

The Michael Mulvany trained TAKE MY HAND (best priced at 15/2) has finished 2nd on her previous three starts and she should hold strong claims once again in this race. The five-year-old finished 2nd by ½ length at Bellewstown in June off a mark of 51 before returning from a 79 day break to finish 2nd at Gowran Park off a mark of 50.

Take My Hand finished 2nd once again at Bellewstown last time off a mark of 54 and she now gets to run in this race off a mark of 51 making her 3lbs “well in” at the weights. Regular rider Gary Carroll is on board and I expect her to run well with up to five places available.

Take my hand - 0.5pts e/w @ 15/2

15:35 Ayr

The Jim Goldie trained TOMMY G  (best priced at 11/2) is an eight time course winner at Ayr including four over this trip of 7f and he should hold strong claims once again. The nine-year-old won over a mile here in September off a mark of 67 before finishing 5th at Goodwood off a mark of 68 on his next start. He finished 2nd by ½ length in an apprentice handicap last time off a mark of 70 under a rider with only three wins in her career over a mile and he shouldn’t be inconvenienced by this drop back to 7f.

Paul Mulrennan is back on board Tommy G in this race and he runs here 2lbs “well in” at the weights. A mark of 70 means he is still well handicapped on his form from earlier this season (won off a mark of 71 in May) and he should run well with up to four places on offer.

Tommy G - 0.5pts e/w @ 11/2
