14:25 Ffos Las
I’m looking forward to seeing SUPER SIX back out for Nigel Twiston-Davies at Ffos Las on Sunday. This horse built on a promising second at Taunton to get back to winning ways at Market Rasen when last seen. He made most of the running that day and showed a great attitude to fend off Doctor Ken. The latter is a useful yardstick and the front pair pulled a mile clear. He has plenty of potential now going chasing and I think he can make a winning start. Boothill struggled in testing ground over hurdles at Galway when last seen and did disappoint on sole start over fences at Exeter. He still has potential though and looks the biggest threat to the selection. Honneur D’ajonc has some good form in the book over hurdles and is another one that should have a bright future now jumping fences.

I don’t think PRIDE OF PRIORY got much luck chasing the four-timer at Hamilton back in August. He was held up in rear and was denied a run when trying to make headway and could never really recover. He was beaten just over 5 lengths but I still think he could be open to further improvement. He beat a good horse in Thundering at Newcastle and then looked good at Ascot so I’m still keen to keep him on side. Goshen obviously adds a bit of spice to the mix having run well when beaten just 2 lengths on the Flat here back in May. This trip will likely catch him out though and I think they’ll just be using this to blow away the cobwebs before going chasing. Saratoga Gold is thriving and might pose a greater threat despite going up another 5lb. The second Dundory ran creditably next time out too which gives the form some substance.
