Given I still think she is improving PERFECT ALIBI gets a confident vote to get herself back in the winners enclosure at Yarmouth on Monday. She really impressed making all the running to win at Newbury back in May and that form has been well advertised since. She finished down the field in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot but was quickly back to her best beating Sea Sylph at Newbury in July. She certainly didn’t disgraced herself when second to Hoo Ya Mal at Goodwood last time and given this is easier under positive tactics she should take all the beating once more. The danger is Gleneagles filly Strawberri who beat Viola at Goodwood last time. She has more to come over this trip but then the latter does get an 8lb swing so they likely both enter calculations here. Pennymoor is also worth noting but this is competitive.
