Despite running green MANUHA did well to get as close as he did on handicap debut at Yarmouth when last seen. He was heavily punted that day but inexperience just got the better of him. He started to hang left and once corrected then lugged in badly right before straightening up. He even had time to jump the path before running on strongly. He will know a lot more this time around and given time since that last run I’m expecting him to have improved again.

I thought he’d be clear fav for this and he may well be come post time. Hernan Cortes clocked a fairly decent speed figure when second at Newcastle but that came in just a small field and he needs to show he can back that up on turf here. Entrancement has had a few chances but she did only go down a head at Wolverhampton last time so is another one that has a chance in here.
