Taste The Fear was well beaten on his chasing debut and likely needs the other pair to falter to claim anything better than third. Big Difference was a decent third at Market Rasen last time and warrants respect in receipt of plenty of weight, but DAZZLING GLORY's class may shine through. She hasn't done a great deal wrong in four starts since falling and her fencing bow and Harry Skelton could take this race by the scruff of the neck.
Prediction : 1st Dazzling Glory 2nd Big Difference 3rd Taste The Fear

TIMES ARE BLUE overcame greenness to win a Plumpton bumper on his debut in May and that form looks fairly solid with the third winning since. He receives the weight-for-age allowance on his hurdling debut and could make it two from two. Getaway Drumlee won between the flags at Tattersalls Farm in April and is respected on his NH bow, while Wot You Wearing has shown promise in bumpers and cannot be ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st Times Are Blue 2nd Getaway Drumlee 3rd Wot You Wearing

This effectively looks a match between ICEMAN DENNIS and Sharp Note, who both switch to hurdles following some pleasing efforts in the bumper sphere. The former has shown slightly more, particularly when a short-head second at Newcastle on debut, so he gets the nod. Cherokees Prayer and Hold Your Fort have shown nothing over timber thus far and look set to fight it out for third. Simond Edwards' charge, who wears cheekpieces for the first time, could win that race.
Prediction : 1st Iceman Dennis 2nd Sharp Note 3rd Cherokees Prayer

It's difficult to rule out any of these, but marginal preference is for ERNESTO. Ian Williams' charge has been kept busy on the Flat over the summer months and he's been given a real chance by the handicapper back in this sphere. Jen's Boy gained success at Newton Abbot in August with the help of a stewards' enquiry, but she would have been an unfortunate loser and a 4lb rise in the weights looks fair. Blakeney Point is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Ernesto 2nd Jens Boy 3rd Blakeney Point

Experience could count for plenty here and, though WHATSDASTORY has been off the track since April, she's shown a fair level of ability over the larger obstacles and is fancied to make a winning reappearance. Ayr Of Elegance hasn't been sent chasing since her days with Henry de Bromhead, but she's not short of recent match practice and heads the list of dangers from Oborne Lady.
Prediction : 1st Whatsdastory 2nd Ayr Of Elegance 3rd Oborne Lady

15:55 Hereford

The consistent SIMPLY RED gets the vote having finished runner-up on her last two starts and because Brian Hughes is back in the saddle after steering her to victory at Bangor in August. This sharper trip shouldn't be an inconvenience to recent Southwell winner Barely Famous, who looks a danger along with Cotton End, who bolted up in this race two years ago and isn't dismissed lightly.
Prediction : 1st Simply Red 2nd Barely Famous 3rd Cotton End

Although he remains a maiden after 19 runs, the handicapper appears to have given the Kayley Woollacott-trained GETAWAY CORY his best chance to date and, with conditions likely to suit, he gets a tentative vote. Ranco rates as the biggest threat having been narrowly denied at Newton Abbot when last seen and because he's upped to this trip for the first time. Time Bandit is having his first run since a wind operation and remains unexposed in this company.
Prediction : 1st Getaway Cory 2nd Ranco 3rd Time Bandit
