Clounmacon is another for the shortlist having come home second on both starts over further and if she gets a clear run, she could prove the biggest danger to AMERICAN SONJA. Caught close home over 7f after cruising into the lead here last month, the return this trip and a big field may see Joseph O'Brien's filly in an even better light.

Adonis arrives in this contest as the highest-rated horse and has to respected after some good efforts in handicap company, but he may prove vulnerable to less-exposed rivals. Hibernia Oppositus finished ahead of HARLEY STREET here over 1m2f in September, but Aidan O'Brien's inmate is selected to reverse that form with that racecourse debut experience behind him and he shaped like he could prove more effective up in distance. Rockview Consort ran a better race in defeat over this trip at Bellewstown last month and she rates next best ahead of useful hurdler Drop The Anchor.

GAMBE VELOCI may have been unlucky in running at Listowel last month, but he looked ill at ease over the shorter trip and it is hoped that the return to a mile can see him deservedly get off the mark at the fourth time of asking. Painters Palette has shown steady improvement of late and his most recent outing over further here represented a career-best effort. Boher Road has plenty to recommend him following a strong runner-up finish at Listowel, while Coolree is of interest with the step up in trip expected to suit.

Pimstrel appeared to fail to see out the mile at Listowel last time but she will be far happier dropping back a furlong, and could go well here with a clear run. The more consistent MIRACLES IN MAY is just about preferred after her narrow Cork defeat and a fast-run race here may yet play into her hands. Bellick is another to consider off his current mark, with James Ryan's 7lb claim an added bonus.

The son of Fast Company has been running well in defeat of late and has been given a big chance by the handicapper.
