This contest has been dominated by the Classic generation since its inception, and the impressive Park Hill winner MIMIKYU fits the bill as she steps into Grade 1 company for the first time. Her connections know what it takes to win this and she is bred for the job being a full-sister to 2016 winner Journey. It is difficult to know what to expect from the talented Emily Upjohn following her listless effort here in July, but she remains with significant potential. Eternal Pearl continues to go from strength to strength, having won her last four, and she must enter calculations, along with Prix de Royallieu scorer Sea La Rosa and last year's winner Eshaada.

Inspiral was able to put her disappointment at Newmarket well behind her when winning the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville last time and she's likely to be a very warm order today. Adayar could be one of the toughest opponents Baaeed has ever come up against and he certainly won't go down without a fight following his facile victory at Doncaster last time, while Sir Michael Stoute's Bay Bridge could go well if he's been freshened up by a break, following a disappointing showing when last seen in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown at the start of July.

As you'd expect, there are plenty in with chances here, but BASHKIROVA could be well treated off a mark of 104 and she seems versatile with regards to underfoot conditions, so William Haggas' filly looks the one to side with back in handicap company today. Tyrrhenian Sea still looks open to plenty of improvement and he has run well in defeat in some similar contests this year, so it'll be no surprise if he's on the premises once again. Sweet Believer proved her well-being after almost 12 months off with a good second in Listed company last month and she's another to take very seriously.
