Drawn to attack in stall one, Heather Main's charge found 6f too sharp at Kempton last month but this longer trip ought to suit the unexposed three-year-old. Fairy Footprints hasn't shown much in four career starts but it's far too early to be writing her off.

In what looks a fairly deep contest, marginal preference is for WE COULD BE HEROES. Having been beaten half a length by the now 111-rated Marbaan at Salisbury in July, he holds leading form claims. The son of Ribchester shouldn't be inconvenienced by the switch to an artificial surface (related to all-weather winners) and he'll be tough to beat if anywhere near his best. Stand Strong boasts a decent level of form himself and is fancied to go close. Newcomers Port Erin and Quantum Cat are also noted.

SERENITY faded late on over 7f at Newcastle last month and, though her pedigree would suggest she'd be suited by further, the three-year-old could benefit from this drop in trip. The ultra-consistent Soi Dao looks set to go well off 1lb higher than her recent second at Leicester, along with Cherish, who gained a deserved eighth career success over C&D last month. Hello Me shouldn't be underestimated, for all that she does have a bit to prove currently.

MONSIEUR FANTAISIE made a promising start for his new yard when he finished a close second at Catterick last month. That was his first outing since July and confirmed that he still retains ability. This a tougher race but it's significant that the gelding responded well for Luke Morris in the past, so the jockey booking could well prove to be a key factor. Nacho is well drawn to attack and, as a three-time C&D winner, he could bounce back after finding his stamina tested over 6f here 12 days ago. Q Twenty Boy is another to note.

Dropping back to 5f might ideally suit SUANNI if he responds kindly to racing in a visor for the first time. The gelding didn't enjoy the clearest of passages but still managed to finish a clear third over 6f at Kempton on Wednesday night, an effort which was the more commendable given that he was slowly into stride. The new headgear can sharpen him up from the gates and he could be a different proposition this time. Red Walls would be dangerous to leave out of calculations, while Privilege posted her best effort of the current campaign when finishing a good second over C&D 16 days ago.

The top two on the racecard are the most intriguing and the class-dropping WHITE MOONLIGHT appeals most. The five-year-old has obviously had training issues and returns to action for the first time since she beat just one to the finish line in the Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot. However, she'd previously shown plenty of promise and is taken to reward the perseverance shown by her connections. Longsider is lightly raced for his age and, given that he's 2-4, he strikes as the most interesting alternative. Sonnerie Power is also worthy of consideration.

WHITE WOLF was last seen finishing sixth of eight in the Dante at York but faces nothing anywhere near that calibre of opponent this time. He's out of the high-class Long Lashes and, as a brother to a 1m winner on the all-weather, he is a standout on pedigree. Halic is already with his third trainer but did show some promise on his only previous start. Carzola is the pick of the newcomers.

This is a familiar route taken by Sir Mark Prescott and the Newmarket maestro can pick up another pot with previous C&D winner CAPTAIN HOWSE, who has adapted well to racing in a visor and could easily surpass his current rating of just 55. Order Of St John concedes 10lb to the selection but is versatile and looks worth another try on a synthetic surface. Easter Icon could be good value to make the frame, while Bird For Life completes the shortlist.
