Green Glory won a Punchestown festival bumper in April with the runner-up subsequently selling for 185,000 pounds and the form looking strong. His rider claims 7lb from top weight but nonetheless lacks jumping experience which is a concern. Ocean Of Mercy showed useful bumper form, improvement can expected jumping-wise from his Bellewstown hurdling debut and is proven at this distance, albeit not on testing ground. Meetingofthewaters is useful and has place claims.

GRAND SOIR is a stayer who won easily at Kilbeggan, with the runner-up winning subsequently. Most of his form is on a sound surface but ran well on testing ground last March and has plenty jumping experience, being a point-to-point winner. Nos Na Gaoithe could be suited to stepping up to three miles and ran well at Listowel (Benny The Duke was sixth). However it is a concern she disappointed slightly on her only previous soft ground run, in June. Most of Royal Romeo's form is on a sound surface but has form on soft although faces a tougher task than when winning his maiden hurdle. Irish Blaze disappointed at Ayr in April and while capable of much better, lacks a recent run. Another Choice's jumping needs to improve while Frazel Express has a light weight but might struggle to win.

L'or Des Roses was well beaten into second at Downpatrick and would be better suited to a sound surface. Fly De Megaudais is a three-time winner but was well held recently and would prefer good ground.

CORKBEG improved to win at Clonmel and being a five year old, could continue to progress. His earlier form was ordinary and is as yet unproven on testing ground but handled an ease at Clonmel (Light Parade was sixth) and should be competitive. Ground-versatile points winner Kilgorey has disappointed in recent times prior to a Clonmel runner-up effort, with that form being significantly boosted by the winner scoring easily next time. Beaverstown Bullet is a 15-race maiden and while he has a tendency to jump right, will be suited by this track and has recent form. Bumper-placed Captain Lightfoot is interesting on handicap debut while Beat Of The Sea has been running well enough but hasn't won for two years.

Chase debutante IDAS BOY was a capable staying hurdler, has winning point-to-point experience and likes testing ground. He hasn't run since January but was a non-runner at Cheltenham in March, suggesting his layoff isn't quite so long, and should be ready. The Goffer was a Grade 3 winner last February but was well beaten on two subsequent runs, one at Cheltenham, when his yard was a little quiet. He could do well over fences but is held by the selection on a line through a horse called Gerri Colombe. Gua De Large's form is a little in-and-out and was well held on chase debut recently. Watch House Cross is on a retrieval mission having had blood at his nostrils and a wound when pulling up at Kilbeggan and was a faller last time in Listowel. Caesar Rock is rated 111 over hurdles and was well held by the winner at Galway recently.
Prediction : 1st Idas Boy 2nd The Goffer 3rd Gua Du Large

LOW STYLE is unexposed and could win on chase debut. He improved to win on handicap debut, following a 254 days break, at Roscommon and while unproven on testing ground, is open to plenty progression and meets Golden Sandbanks, third at Roscommon, on similar terms. Golden Sandbanks is himself unbeaten in two chases, in handicaps, and while he too can progress, all his form is on a sound surface. Similarly Final Orders is in excellent form and won easily at Killarney but would also prefer a sound surface, albeit he won an ordinary hurdle in 2020 on soft. Good As Hell is ground-versatile and has chase form but faces a tougher task than at Tipperary. Ena Baie was well held at Killarney.

FAN DE BLUES has joint top weight but also has good form. Ground-versatile, he finished third in the Galway Plate, won well at Ballinrobe in August (Bythesametoken was well held from level-weights) and runs over a similar distance. Four-time winner Kitty Galore receives weight from the selection, ran well at Galway recently, is ground-versatile and capable of giving the selection a race. Vado Forte was behind Kitty Galore in Galway and is a six-time winner who is useful over this distance and on soft. Influential Lady is in form but would prefer a sound surface and a longer distance while Pythion ran well recently but is 3lb out of the handicap and would also prefer good ground. Espion Du Chenet disappointed at Galway but is a six-time chase winner.
Prediction : 1st Fan De Blues 2nd Kitty Galore 3rd Vado Forte

MY GAFFER beat a subsequent winner at Listowel in September. He had bumped into Marine Nationale in Killarney in August, beating a previous winner into third, and has form on soft. Space Tourist ran well at Navan in March and won nicely on her yard debut in August. The form of her Tramore win is nothing outstanding but can progress stepping up to this distance and today's rider claims 7lb. Housemartin and Corbetts Cross both showed form last season but need to improve. Glendars Mahler has more on her plate than when third at Clonmel but is race-fit. Realta Geal stayed on from off the pace at Down Royal 51 days ago and runs in her first bumper.
