The selection was just denied by Wodao over the minimum trip at Tipperary and again filled the runner-up spot after a two-month break behind Small Oasis at the Curragh. That form looks solid in the context of this race as the winner went on to be placed in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket. Something Nice had Coolcalmncollected behind when keeping on nicely on debut over C&D a fortnight ago, while Vanguard Star and Decorated My Life are others to consider.

NUMOOR won a nursery on heavy ground for Simon Crisford and after tumbling down in the ratings from a mark in the high 70s, indicated a return to form over six furlongs at the Curragh last time when sixth in a 30-runner handicap. He doesn't have too much ground to make up on the third, Tammany Hall, and the booking of Colin Keane looks significant. A high draw is usually the place to be here on soft ground and others to consider on the stands' side include Teddy Boy and recent C&D winner Conversant, who beat Linus Larrabee and Derrinlaur Spender a fortnight ago. Ever Rock likes soft ground and comes here in good form.

DAISY JONES won a barrier trial and showed promise twice in maidens also at Dundalk when trained by Kevin Prendergast last year. The daughter of Kodi Bear showed plenty of pace on her belated seasonal debut at the Curragh last month when narrowly denied by Life In Colour in a 22-runner maiden and this looks a good opportunity to go one better. She had a number of these rivals behind on that occasion including Lalechko and Lokada who both have scope for improvement. Nishiki Kamuro showed good speed in a Cork maiden this summer but hasn't really progressed in two handicap runs since.

SCREEN SIREN has won twice over the minimum trip at Cork including when beating Collective Power this summer and has held her form well since. She filled the runner-up spot behind the progressive Craft Irish on soft ground at the Curragh last time with Jon Riggens about a length behind in fifth. The latter should again prove a threat with further improvement likely. Harry's Hill is on a four-timer following a trio of wins over the minimum trip, while Aloysius Lilius won on soft ground at Naas last year and recorded a fifth career win in good style at Bellewstown last month. The handicapper was equally impressed raising him 11lb, while Mickey The Steel carries a 7lb penalty after gaining a deserved win at Dundalk last Friday.

BLUES EMPEROR made a pleasing reappearance when third at Cork last month and opened his account when again encountering testing ground over a mile at Listowel. The Johnny Murtagh-trained gelding, a half-brother to the prolific Geological, has scope for further improvement and gives the impression he may appreciate this longer trip. Mister Wilson won twice on soft ground last autumn and has continued to progress this term winning at Galway and again ran a cracker at Tipperary earlier this month. Dark Vega won a Curragh maiden on debut last backend and, while failing to add to that victory this season, can't be lightly discounted.

MAN O WORK won twice over hurdles earlier this year and shaped well on his reappearance when beating all bar Prairie Dancer in the valuable Lartigue Hurdle at the Listowel Festival last month. He seems to stay well and is an interesting sort reverting to the Flat. Sundial showed improved form when stepped up to two miles at Thurles earlier this month, while the market should provide a good guide to the prospects of Uxmal. The son of Galileo has been absent since catching the eye on debut behind Sissoko at the Curragh 12 months ago. Drop The Anchor is the pick of these over hurdles and is fitted with a hood after a couple of recent Flat outings.

MAJESTIC JEWEL won on soft ground at Tramore for Andrew McNamara last year and after switching to Sheila Lavery's yard this summer, has appreciated cut in the ground on her latest two starts including when just denied at Thurles. She pulled well clear along with Three Comets last time and may defy a 7lb hike in the weights. Wajaaha rates a big threat. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding has dropped down to a competitive mark and was only beaten two lengths by Chally Chute at the Curragh last week. Secret Secret is one to note in the market on just his second run for Emmet Mullins.

GLOBAL EXPORT won a maiden hurdle here this spring and has edged down to a mark where he just qualifies on top weight, so makes plenty of appeal. Nathaniel's Dream won over hurdles at the Galway Festival but reverts to the Flat for the first time in 12 months. Clifftop beat Ellaat over 1m4f at Bellewstown last month and there shouldn't be much between the pair on these revised terms.
