Full Intention recorded a much-improved fourth at Kempton last time out and could also make his presence felt.

It's been nearly a year since Sovereign Slipper was last in action and, having been gelded since, he has questions to answer in his bid to pick up where he left off last season. Chief Of Staff tries a visor for the first time and is highly respected, while Dark Side Thunder still has scope and completes the shortlist.

AHLAWI hasn't won since landing a novice event on the Polytrack at Chelmsford as a juvenile, but he showed some promise in two previous starts for locally-based trainer Scott Dixon. The yard has a healthy strike-rate at this track and, assuming the gelding copes with the switch to Tapeta, their representative could well be the surprise package in a race where many have something to prove. Twilight Secret drops back in trip after fading over 7f in an apprentice race at Newcastle last month. He completes the shortlist alongside Palifico and Hail Sezer, who both won last time out and still hold scope to make further progress.

It might be worth chancing a small investment in ANNIE MAHER being able to make the most of the 5lb fillies' allowance she receives from Banddar, who jointly helps to set the standard to aim at. The selection returned from a 51-day break with a respectable effort at Haydock last month and can be expected to be a lot sharper with a visor applied for the first time. The drop in trip is also expected to suit her more than Banddar judged on breeding. Canadian Fire is another to consider.

Others to note include Kalahari Prince, Kitten's Dream and Vaynor.

Revoquable is bound to be popular here following an emphatic success over C&D on his most recent outing. Preference, however, is for BACK FROM DUBAI, who has only once been outside the first three in his last five starts and almost made all over C&D last month. The five-year-old loves it around here and he should have too much for the likes of Gold Standard, who may not be suited by the drop in trip, and Available Angel.
