Well suited by this distance, she has good form on soft ground at Leopardstown last Christmas and is open to improvement jumping-wise on her second chase start. Sassy Yet Classy likes testing ground and while rated 135 over hurdles, lacks a recent run and makes her chase debut. Lightly raced nine year old Red As Rust makes her belated chase debut but was a point-to-point winner on debut in 2018 and showed nice ability in winning a maiden hurdle last January. The selection's stablemate Brampton Belle was a Listed winner over hurdles last February and while suited by testing conditions, is stable second-string on jockey bookings and makes her chase debut on seasonal reappearance.

KING FERDINAND was useful in staying hurdles in the UK prior to debuting for new connections at Killarney. He was well held in second then but the easy winner won easily on Sunday and the selection competes from a workable rating of 95, having won a Huntingdon handicap hurdle rated 94, with his rider claiming 5lb. Definiteadare is held by the section on Killarney form but himself competes from a rating 7lb below his hurdles mark. Union Park has won just once from 27 runs but is in form, for a trainer whose horses are flying. Lady McCabe has been given a break since her Downpatrick disappointment in May. Lessofdnegativity and Early Arrival have recent form at this level and have some place claims.

STILL CIEL is capable and receives weight from the previous winners. A point-to-point winner on debut, she has yet to race on soft ground but is experienced and bumped into capable types on her last two starts. Can't Stop Smiling's August run was the subject of a Rule 212 suspension and having lost a subsequent appeal, reappears today. The Ballinrobe runner-up won subsequently and while Mark Walsh now takes the ride, she nonetheless has a fair task on more testing ground. Lady Of The Vale makes her jumps debut but has recent bumper form. She has yet to run on soft ground but won on an easy surface at Clonmel. Get Me To The Park won on debut at Downpatrick but was green and keen when disappointing on hurdles debut. She returned with a superficial cut and was blowing hard at Sligo but is now on a retrieval mission. Beyond Ambitions finished second in a Grade 3 Punchestown festival bumper but has disappointed in three subsequent hurdles and runs in a first-time tongue-tie.

Perhaps MUNTAHEZ can double his career total. He has some fair form over the last year including both a third and a runner-up finish in Punchestown, and a fourth at Roscommon. He has placed form on yielding to soft ground which will aid his cause with the amount of rain moving into Thurles on Wednesday. Matilda With Me could go better on testing ground. This triple winner on the Flat is unexposed over hurdles. Brehon Star drops back in trip after running fifth over 2m4f at Gowran Park. He looks one of the more likely contenders with Michael O'Sullivan claiming 5lb. Vairue attracted support in Gowran Park last month. He was beaten in fourth when he fell at the last, but it will be interesting to see if he is backed again. First-reserve Elle Dorado Rock would be a big player if getting a run. He would be making his handicap debut over flights and didn't run badly in sixth on the Flat at Killarney.

A good race featuring CAPE GENTLEMAN and French Dynamite with slight preference for the former. Emmet Mullins' charge is more than useful across all disciplines and reverts back to the smaller obstacles. He was last seen falling at the final fence when beaten in the Kerry National at Listowel in September. He has had a productive spell over fences, though, in winning at Grade 3 level and being placed in a Grade 2. His last run over hurdles saw him finish third in the Galway Hurdle of 2021 which shows his class. He is a Grade 2 winner in this sphere. French Dynamite is making his seasonal reappearance. He is a classy sort over fences as he landed a Grade 3 at this track and finished third in a Grade A novice handicap chase at Punchestown. He has a stack of graded form over hurdles and is a big threat, particularly as he is three from four at this track. Happy Jacky could be best of the rest.

JUNGLE PROSE is dangerous on her second start for Gordon Elliott after switching from Britain. She had plenty of placed efforts in hurdle races across the Irish Sea and ran fourth for Elliott in a higher grade in Gowran Park last month. She has handled testing ground before. Well Polly is more than capable over this trip. She made the breakthrough in an 80-95 handicap hurdle at Roscommon by seven and a half lengths. She came in runner-up in this grade on her last outing in Clonmel. Natural Look was a ready winner by six lengths over 2m4f at Gowran Park. She is up in trip and her form is on better ground, so she is swerved despite her good form. Ardera Ru is up in trip and gets first-time cheekpieces. This former point-to-point winner has a shot. Good Bye Milan fell at the final fence in Tipperary when leading by a length. She was placed in her last outing over hurdles, but again there are ground concerns with her.

LITTLE SOIREE just failed by a nose on debut at Ballinrobe and can gain compensation. That run was on good ground, but her sire's progeny are showing a real aptitude for soft ground so conditions shouldn't bother her. Point-to-point winner A Law Of Her Own has been placed in two of her four bumpers. There is a bumper to be won with her. Reginalds Tower was a place in front of A Law Of Her Own in second at Navan, but wouldn't welcome the rain. Lake Winnipesaukee has shown ability in all three bumpers to date. The hood could elicit some improvement.
