BOIS DE CLAMART is top rated here and may be able to make a winning return with the ground likely to suit after recent rain. The French-bred gelding won his last two, in the spring, in testing conditions and this looks a nice race for his seasonal debut. Tax For Max is next best on the ratings and comes here fit front the Flat. He finished down the field in the Irish Cesarewitch last time but had run a decent race when third at Roscommon previously and should be a big player in this. Hiaou is the unexposed horse in the field but has to give weight away on his return. He was well held when falling in Grade 2 company at Naas when last seen in February having won a decent maiden hurdle at Punchestown the previous month.
Prediction : 1st Bois De Clamart 2nd Tax For Max 3rd Hiaou

JOESWAYORNOWAY has been in decent form over fences and looks capable of landing a race of this standard off her current mark. She won at Killarney on her penultimate start and ran a solid race off a 5lb higher mark when third at Tramore eight days ago. She is now rated a couple of pounds lower over the smaller obstacles and Kieran Callaghan takes a useful 7lb off her back to lessen her top weight burden. She's Tobias finished off well when chasing home Betty Dutton in maiden company at Roscommon last month. She looks on a fair mark off 97 on her handicap debut but dropping back in trip on a tight track is a slight concern. Angelsworknovrtime travelled well into the straight at Cork last time but didn't get home and should appreciate dropping back now. She could be an each-way bet.
Prediction : 1st Joeswayornoway 2nd Shes Tobias 3rd Angelsworknovrtime

GINNETS GIRL won her bumper around here and gets the vote after a decent run to finish second over timber at Tipperary earlier in the month. She bumped into a smart sort in The Model Kingdom and looked then like she would appreciate going the extra half mile today. Carrig Rock sets the standard off a mark of 112 and has plenty of placed form. He was a solid third at Gowran at the start of the month and a similar run should see him in the picture again. Duncreevan disappointed in a Navan bumper last time out but had some solid placed form prior to that and is interesting now on his jumping debut.
Prediction : 1st Ginnets Girl 2nd Carrig Rock 3rd Duncreevan

WA WA gets another shot over hurdles here and may be able to make use of his lower mark over timber. He wasn't helped by being hampered by a loose horse and then making a mistake at the final flight at Gowran on his return but may not have beaten the mare Natural Look anyway as she was a cosy winner. The Yeats gelding may improve a bit from that seasonal debut and is worth another shot off a 33lb lower mark over hurdles. Hard Rain stayed on well when getting within half a length of Sea Of Sands at Gowran late last month and he may appreciate going further now. Off just a 2lb higher mark he looks a danger. Mrs Paisley showed a bit in maidens and looks an unexposed one to note in the market.
Prediction : 1st Wa Wa 2nd Hard Rain 3rd Mrs Paisley

RIAAN looks the standout here after a couple of runner-up efforts. The Diamond Boy gelding wouldn't be winning out of turn having been grabbed close home on his penultimate outing at Navan and he was only denied a short-head at Gowran last time. He sets a good standard off a mark of 116 now. Suain Na Draoicht was a decent fourth over hurdles at Punchestown last time and the Mahler gelding looks the danger. Saint Bernadette has been placed on her last couple of outings but probably has a bit to find off an official mark of 94.
Prediction : 1st Riaan 2nd Suain Na Draoicht 3rd Saint Bernadette

BROKEN ICE won on his last visit here over fences and may be able to follow up back over timber. He is now rated 115 over the larger obstacles so is of obvious interest here off a 11lb lower mark. Gaius looked to win cosily enough at Punchestown 10 days ago and having only gone up 5lb for that victory he could be a big player again here. Philip Byrnes takes a useful 7lb off his back again. Paidi's Passion is another coming into this in fine form and has to be on the short-list. The Ocovango mare switches back to hurdling after finishing runner-up over fences last time and looks on a fair mark for her handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Broken Ice 2nd Gaius 3rd Paidis Passion

Willie Mullins introduces FUN FUN FUN here and his son Patrick takes the mount on the Martaline filly that he bred himself. She is out of an unraced sister to Yorkhill, a four-time Grade 1 winner for the yard. Gordon Elliott runs Trust Me Nate who has already been runner-up on his sole start at Naas back in February. He was no match for the impressive Icare D'aubrelle then but should be a big player here on his return. Workforadime was beaten a long way when second to Champagnesocialist on her debut at Downpatrick and probably needs to improve on that. Point-to-point winner Western Flyer, third on his 'track' debut at Wexford just over a year ago, looks like another that has to be on the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Fun Fun Fun 2nd Trust Me Nate 3rd Western Flyer
