LEADENHALL failed to land a blow when sent off favourite on his debut last month, but, having lost a shoe, that effort seems best forgiven. A full-brother to the talented Laurel (runner-up in this year's Sun Chariot), he should have no problem with the switch to an artificial surface and, with improvement likely, he's fancied to score at the second time of asking. Prince of Zenda could fill the runner-up spot and Strike Alliance is noted too.

Though he was well held on his latest outing over 6f, DANCE AHEAD appears to have been handed an easier opening to shed the maiden tag. The son of Caravaggio was beaten by rivals now rated 97 and 111 and, with the step up in trip likely to suit, he could score. Stablemate Bohemian Breeze rates as the main danger following his debut second at Leicester, while Ramz ought to fare better back in a maiden.

Double Time was nudged up just 2lb following his recent Kempton success and is respected, though a wide draw is a concern and, with that in mind, the vote goes to TOOPHAN. The son of New Approach faced some stiff assignments in his qualifying runs but this handicap debut ought to be more suitable and an opening mark of 75 could underestimate him. Almaan scored off this mark over C&D in January and must feature prominently in calculations too.

There was only a short head to separate LAHEG (fourth) and Secret Moment (fifth) when they met over further at Wolverhampton recently and it is the former who is taken to come out on top once more. Marco Bott's charge remains unexposed and this will be just his third start since being pitched into Listed company last October. Cooperation has been relatively consistent throughout this season and must enter calculations as well.

ESTRELA STAR endured a nightmare trip when fourth here last time out and, granted he is a bit handier this time around, Ali Stronge's charge may be able to supplement his C&D success in April. A winner of two of her last three starts, Haven Lady is a filly thriving at present and the step up in trip could eke out further improvement, while course winner Central City is another to watch out for.

It's very tempting to just side with SHAMSHON after his near miss over 6f here a fortnight ago. The Stuart Williams-trained gelding is undoubtedly well handicapped and he has little to fear from dropping back to the minimum trip. Munificent is also respected but a more potent threat might be posed by Privilege, who is still unexposed on the all-weather and likely has more to offer.

ALWAJD might not represent a great deal of value but she's certainly a very appealing proposition in this company and she could take some stopping in her bid for a fourth win from her last five starts. A 6lb penalty for her latest success over a slightly shorter trip at Wolverhampton gives hope to any supporters of Mc'ted, who has thrived since being fitted with a visor. Cap D'Antibes is unexposed at the trip and he completes the shortlist.
