EATON COLLINA has gone well fresh in the past and looks the one to beat on his chasing debut. He unseated his rider early on over hurdles last time, but previously won readily over a similar trip to this at Hereford and should be competitive off a 7lb higher mark. How's The Cricket, another chasing newcomer, would be arriving here on a hat-trick but for being disqualified at Newton Abbot and he warrants respect. Investment Manager may also improve for switching from hurdles to fences.

A number of these look to have chances, but HYMAC justified strong market support when winning a Newton Abbot bumper on his debut under Rules in March and he is fancied to follow up now switching to hurdles. New Found Fame faces no easy task conceding weight all round, but he won nicely on his racecourse/hurdling bow at Uttoxeter and must enter calculations. Airtothethrone, Duke Of Deception, Rouge De L'quest and Spring Meadow are others to keep an eye on.

Breaking Waves is respected after a comfortable success at Southwell, but he has been hit by a 9lb rise and is not certain to prove as effective in more testing conditions. SAINT SEGAL also has the benefit of a recent run and is taken to build on his solid sixth in a good Chepstow event, especially with the longer trip potentially unlocking further improvement. There may be more to come from The Changing Man and he's one to consider on his return, while Bumpy Johnson arrives on the back of a wind procedure.

JEAN GENIE did well to finish second at Huntingdon earlier this month after slipping on a couple of occasions and the grey is likely to fare better now returned to a C&D over which he finished third back in April. Corrany may be able to reverse the form of his Chepstow third to Boagrius now 5lb better off for just over four lengths, with this slightly longer trip also appearing in his favour. Faitque De L'Isle warrants a mention too.

The main danger, though, could prove to be Good Impression, who scored on his latest hurdles outing at Uttoxeter.

ALMOST GOTAWAY finished runner-up at Warwick on his second outing over timber and the Nicky Martin-trained five-year-old is entitled to progress now making the move into handicap company on his return to the fray.
