Steve Ryder is back with three tips from today's action.
14:20 Leicester
The Tom Ward trained ABSOLUTE PEACH (best priced at 8/1) has been well supported in the overnight market but I believe she is still the value in the race. The daughter of Profitable showed very little on her first three starts when sent off 18/1, 150/1 and 250/1 over 6f but improved on her handicap debut last time when 5th off an opening mark of 46. That was over 1m½f and the filly ran too keenly in the early stages before weakening late on.
This drop back to 7f should be perfect for Absolute Peach and she is interesting on her turf debut off a lowly handicap mark of 44.

This race is full of unexposed types who should improve for novice chasing but preference goes to the Stuart Coltherd trained FIRST ILLUSION (best priced at 13/2). The six-year-old disappointed in maiden hurdles when trained by Philip Kirby before not living up to market expectations when last on his handicap debut despite being sent off 13/2.
First Illusion has since joined Stuart Coltherd who sends him straight over fences and he should prove well handicapped off a mark of 82. He would have finished 2nd in a PTP behind the 129 rated Up For Parol if he hadn’t fell at the second last fence where the now 124 rated Git Maker and 119 rated Whacker Clan were a further 18 lengths behind. On that run he is clearly well handicapped off a mark of 82 and hopefully a stable switch means he can start fulfilling his potential.
16:25 Ayr
This looks a competitive bumper to conclude the card but preference goes to MAGIC WAVE (best priced at 11/4) who sets the standard on form showed so far. The Mark Walford trained six-year-old finished 2nd in both of his bumpers last season including when only beaten a head over this course and distance in April.
Magic Wave achieved higher RPRs than Whats The Solution and Royal Tale on their previous runs and he should be able to beat The Kalooki Kid and Artic Row on their debuts under rules.
