Danvers Gold caught the eye with a highly-promising debut third, but that was back in June on a firmer surface. Nightcliff was only a head behind her that day and warrants plenty of respect, but preference is for STARRY EYED. Only beaten half a length on her debut at Dundalk over this trip, she stepped up to a mile at Leopardstown where she raced prominently before being caught at the furlong pole, suggesting a return to this distance may be just what she needs.
Prediction : 1st Starry Eyed 2nd Danvers Gold 3rd Nightcliff

This can go the way of TEA OLIVE, who ran a career-best at Leopardstown last week when staying on well at the finish for third. As long as Noel Meade's filly handles the ground, she looks the one to beat. Gowran Park winner Immutable looks best placed to chase her home, although Trachonitus could be the type to enjoy testing conditions and may have a say at the finish.
Prediction : 1st Tea Olive 2nd Immutable 3rd Trachonitus

It can pay to have at least a couple on your side in a race of this nature, with tough mare MARY SALOME heading the list after a handful of gritty performances. Dropping back a furlong shouldn't be a problem and her proven stamina can win her the day. Nordic Passage is another to seriously consider as he has run some of his best races at this track and he too should cope with the underfoot conditions. Cnodian is a solid option for a place in the frame, while the veteran Downforce shouldn't be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Mary Salome 2nd Nordic Passage 3rd Cnodian

Although she has a bit to find on official ratings, CHOCOLAT BLU put up her best effort over this trip when fourth behind Emily Dickinson at Naas in April, so it's worth taking a chance on her to get off the mark now stepping back up from a mile. River Rain has produced some good efforts in defeat and shouldn't be far away, while Champagne is another to consider for her powerful connections.
Prediction : 1st Chocolat Blu 2nd River Rain 3rd Champagne

CHATTERBOX produced a career-best effort when second over an extended 1m3f at Killarney earlier this month and, with conditions to suit, she's fancied to score at the seventh time of asking. Speckled Meadow must be feared having cruised to success at Thurles on her latest outing, for all that an 11lb higher mark will make things tougher. King Arthurs Sword made the most of a sliding handicap mark when winning at Leopardstown last time out and is respected under a 7lb penalty.
Prediction : 1st Chatterbox 2nd Speckled Meadow 3rd King Arthurs Sword

A case can be made for plenty of these but none more so than UNANSWERED, who has been in outstanding form in 2022. He won three times on the level before a couple of narrow defeats at the Galway Festival, and Tony Martin's consistent gelding merits plenty of respect. The unexposed Sign From Above is an obvious threat to the selection following his victory at Down Royal last month. Others who make the shortlist include Tronador, Magnetic North and Final Endeavour.
Prediction : 1st Unanswered 2nd Sign From Above 3rd Tronador

WRIST ART finished a far-from-disgraced second on his most recent run at Gowran Park earlier this month and can improve down in trip off the same mark. He is yet to shed the maiden tag but has been progressive in recent months, while Indiana Grey could bounce back following a below-par display at Killarney last time out. Cactus Tree and The Cola Brasil are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Wrist Art 2nd Indiana Grey 3rd Cactus Tree

Hard to know what to expect from a few of these, but GLOBAL EQUITY's form over obstacles stands out in this sort of company so if Joseph O'Brien's mare can transfer that to the Flat, she should take all the beating. Yorkshire Pirlo showed a decent level of ability on the level in England so he's worth keeping an eye on, while Rebel Early could fare best of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Global Equity 2nd Yorkshire Pirlo 3rd Rebel Early
