Quarry Lil is a three-time course winner but hasn't won since March 2021 while most of Minella Youngy's form is on a sound surface. Saga Aravis and Royal Recital are useful at this level while Southerner ran well on his reappearance, is rated 125 over fences but is now a 12 year old. Romella's three consecutive wins last year were on good ground while Lizlucky won a good ground bumper last October but has been well held on her last two hurdles.

Landrake also debuts over jumps and was pulled up on his last run in March, but was previously smart. Third to Facile Vega on debut, he ran well on heavy ground at Navan and while his Downpatrick disappointment is a concern, his yard was off colour at the time and reverts to testing ground. Cillians Charm finished 12th in the Cheltenham bumper, interestingly finishing behind Landrake's Navan conqueror Madmansgame, and goes on testing ground. He has point-to-point experience but was well enough held on good ground at Listowel. 101-rated Malinas Glory is experienced while Plain Or Battered would prefer further and reappears.

HEY JOHNNY ran well on handicap debut and is proven on testing ground. A dual bumper winner, he returned to form when third at Punchestown and while 2lb higher, drops in grade and is ridden by a 7lb claimer. Downthecellar, rated 122 over fences, seems to be getting the hang of hurdles and comes here in good form but all his best form is on a sound surface. Lyla Garrity fell when disputing the lead at Limerick last November and while proven on soft, is long absent. Bite That, a half-brother to Might Bite, won on good ground in August while Marelly's improved Listowel runner-up effort was also on a sound surface. Barbaha Queen would also prefer a good ground while Lily Of Dromard has place claims. Little Mixup is long absent.

His only win was in a two-miles heavy-ground hurdle last February but has form at that distance on the flat, suggesting this extra distance could suit over jumps and his rider claims 7lb. Testing ground is a worry for hat-trick chasing Winning Rascal while in-form Problem Solver is 3lb out of the handicap but has form on soft and is a proven stayer. Good World seems ground and distance-versatile but has climbed back up the ratings. Touch Of Oscar's last hurdles run was when winning here in May 2019 but is suited by testing ground and this distance. Auckland steps up to this distance and has form on soft but has won just once. Time Marches On can improve from his reappearance while Bonne Debut's form is on good ground. Top weight Ballykeel's hurdles form is also on good but has point-to-point form on soft.

Runner-up in the mares' novice hurdle at the 2021 Cheltenham festival, she has since done well over fences and won from a rating of 135 at the Punchestown festival last April. Kitty Galore is a capable four-time winner who is suited by this distance and soft ground but, including jockey claims, is 16lbs wrong with the selection. Whosgotyanow won at Killarney in August but has plenty to find on form while testing ground is a concern and she also runs in a first-time tongue-tie. Trans Wood has won once from 53 runs.

Well held on her latest run in May, she was previously in good form, finished second in a course and distance heavy-ground handicap hurdle in March and is now rated 3lb lower over fences than hurdles. Where's Bunny won here in September and while capable of completing a hat-trick, might prefer a sounder surface. Hilltop Supreme's wins have been over middle-distances and while out of form on his last runs, won here last December and is suited by heavy. Cottie's best form has been on a sound surface but is somewhat unexposed over fences while five-time winner Cluan Dara has been out of form. 19-race maiden Alexharwill is tried in a first-time tongue-tie while grand veteran Capture The Drama is 16lb out of the handicap.
