With just the three heading to post, it is easiest to side with the grade-dropping EHRAZ, who finished a well-beaten ninth in the Bengough Stakes at Ascot earlier this month. He filled the runner-up spot in Listed company at Newbury in May and this appears to be an excellent opportunity for him to get his head back in front. Spirit Of Breeze is related to a handful of smart types and could be his biggest threat, while Tiriac completes the line-up.
Prediction : 1st Ehraz 2nd Spirit Of Breeze 3rd Tiriac

In a field comprising almost entirely of unraced juveniles, a chance can be taken with the Roger Varian-trained BURDETT ROAD. His dam is an unraced full-sister to Rip Van Winkle and a half-sister to Italian Group 3 winner Le Vie Infinite, so he looks capable of giving a good account on his debut. Majestic Pride is a half-brother to the exceptional Farhh and seems a big threat to the selection, but Physique showed promise when finishing second on his racecourse bow earlier this month and should not be taken lightly.
Prediction : 1st Burdett Road 2nd Majestic Pride 3rd Physique

BODORGAN built on his racecourse bow to finish a much-improved third over this C&D earlier this month. His dam is an unraced full-sister to UAE Group 2 winner Golden Goal and is also a half-sister to Listed-placed Rosie's Premiere. He looks set to take another step forward from his most recent outing, while Marcolini has been gelded for his racecourse bow and would be dangerous to dismiss given the stable he represents. Sceptic completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Bodorgan 2nd Marcolini 3rd Sceptic

MATILDA PICOTTE was an easy winner at the Curragh on debut in May and, although not winning since, she has been running with plenty of credit in Group company. This looks a perfect opportunity for the Lowther third to get her head back in front. Believing was kept busy throughout the summer and has yet to run a poor race. She wasn't disgraced in the Oh So Sharp last time and a return to this trip will suit. Simon and Ed Crisford continue to churn out an impressive strike-rate and their representative, All The Time, appears to have been freshened up on the back of a poor effort at Ayr last month.
Prediction : 1st Matilda Picotte 2nd Believing 3rd All The Time

TURNTABLE has shown a clear liking for the Rowley Mile in the past, having won here three times, and judging by his impressive display over a furlong shorter here last month, there seems to be no reason to suggest why he won't go close again. Dual Identity was third in the Cambridgeshire on his last start and looks to have solid credentials, even allowing for a 4lb rise. Frantanck has a 6lb penalty to deal with on the back of his recent Windsor success and he remains unexposed at this level.
Prediction : 1st Turntable 2nd Dual Identity 3rd Frantanck
