Although her opening mark is no gift, QUANTUM LIGHT has run well in defeat in some strong races so far and she commands plenty of respect on her nursery bow. Queen's Eyot is likely to enter calculations in pursuit of the hat-trick after two comfortable wins of late, but a 6lb rise for the latest of those certainly makes life tougher. In These Shoes shaped better than the bare result here last time and is another who could go close.

Orchestra enjoyed a breakthrough victory at the same venue and a 4lb rise may not stop the Ed Dunlop inmate proving the biggest threat to the selection. Shahbaz makes most appeal of the remainder.

However, GHALY makes slightly more appeal, given his lightly-raced profile, and a 1lb rise for his latest win at York could turn out to be lenient. King Of Conquest has proved expensive to follow since his debut, but the three-year-old shouldn't be underestimated now entering handicaps and he's one to consider ahead of Revich, who has been running well in defeat.

KEEP IN TOUCH posted a career-best performance when finishing third in a Group 3 at the Curragh last month and she holds leading claims with this longer trip appearing to be in her favour. Dream Of Love and Queen Fleur are both open to improvement after winning on their respective racecourse debuts. Conservationist posted an improved performance to win at Haydock on her second start for Clive Cox and she can't be ruled out either.

Stablemates Royal Fleet and OTTOMAN FLEET are likely to be key figures as this unfolds and the latter is fancied to atone for his close second in the Group 3 Darley Stakes earlier in the month. The selection took a more conventional route than Royal Fleet, who raced alone on the stands rail in that race, but had still plenty in hand over all bar the winner on the line. Nobel is unbeaten so far but faces his toughest assignment yet, so Algiers is suggested as the best option to complete the shortlist.
