My Value Tip has been in great form this month landing seven winners from my last 10 selections. I head into a new week eyeing up a hat-trick and I have to admit I am taking a chance on one a bit here. I’m going to head to Plumpton where I think PRIVATORY may have been overlooked in the market for Gary Moore. This son of Motivator won his only start over in France and won a novice hurdle on debut for this yard despite pulling hard at Sandown back in March.

Things didn’t go to plan after backing out of it late when second at Stratford and then failing to fire last behind Knappers Hill on final start back in April. He still retains potential for me and off a mark of 118 I’ll be amazed if he can’t get competitive here. Both the trip and ground are going to be ideal with rain in the forecast and it wouldn’t surprise me if he was well backed here. The danger is most likely Coolnaugh Haze who acts well at this track.
