The penny really dropped for this horse over fences when last seen running on strongly to win here back in February and then showing a good attitude to follow up. He made a bad mistake 2 out so to recover in time and then hold on was some effort. He pinged the last before finding plenty of the bridle and he clearly has a fairly big engine under the bonnet.

He is up 5lb but has more to offer yet and I think he’ll go close. Rath An Luir is quite interesting coming down the weights but he was badly out of form when last seen pulling up at Perth and does have a bit to prove. Seven No Trumps looked promising winning on debut over fences at Lingfield but failed to build on that after. Could be the danger if rediscovering his best form up markedly in trip here.
