Aucunrisque warmed to the task on his fencing debut at Uttoxeter, but the form hasn't worked out as expected and he will need to improve if the selection takes to this discipline.

SEDGE WREN makes her hurdling debut following two promising efforts in bumpers, including when third at Cheltenham in April, and the step up in trip is likely to bring about improvement. Martalindy was in the process of outrunning her odds on her timber bow when brought down at the last at Ayr in May before springing a surprise over C&D earlier this month. She has to be respected, while Maridadi, who was behind the selection at Cheltenham, is capable of better following her second at Warwick.

KANUKANKAN fell in handicap company at Southwell on his latest start and connections appear to have found an ideal opportunity for the seven-year-old to gain a confidence-boosting second victory over timber. His stable companion Watashock is capable of a decent showing having run better when fourth at Fakenham, while Chef De Troupe's recent consistency in handicaps entitles him to a place on the shortlist too.

It is a testament to the ability of ADMIRALTY HOUSE that he managed to win on his jumping debut at Kempton, having raced quite keenly throughout the contest. Alan King's juvenile should have learned plenty from the experience and despite having to give 7lb to the reopposing Age Of Sail, he is fancied to come out on top again. Fils De Roi is an interesting recruit from France, while Midnight Train is one to consider for esteemed connections.

The form of FULGURIX's last-start triumph at Hexham has taken a few boosts since and with improvement expected after a summer break, the seven-year-old can pick up where he left off, despite a 7lb higher mark. Getaman should arrive here fitter than most and is a big player on the pick of his form, as is Monte Igueldo, who makes his chasing bow in what looks like a competitive affair.

LORD SPARKY couldn't have been any more impressive when over winning over fences by a wide margin on his first start for Stuart Edmunds. He gets to run off the same mark now back over hurdles, so he should take some stopping if in anything like that form. Bomber's Moon ran OK when third over C&D and he's fancied to go close, while Dante's View could figure at a price if coming forward from his reappearance at Plumpton.
