He is still well treated on his old form having won off a mark of 65 in the past so I think another big run beckons. He obviously has to prove himself at this track but there is a lot of pace on and that will suit him.

Wee Fat Mac is chasing a hat-trick himself having won twice at Newcastle but he was only in front a short head last time and a 7lb rise might find him out here despite being unexposed. Bayraat goes handicapping now but hasn’t shown a massive amount. He will likely do better but might need more time and experience. Jackmeister Rudi might end up being the main danger if proving as effective on the AW.
