Whispering Romance cost a whopping 1,450,000gns as a yearling and demands respect representing powerful connections on debut, but it could pay to side with the experience of LADY LOULOU. The Gosdens' Dark Angel filly shaped with plenty of promise when third on debut at Newmarket in July and that form looks strong, with her successful stablemate Laurel touched off in the Group 1 Sun Chariot since. Adela Of Champagne holds each-way claims.

GOLDEN SHEEN faced a couple of stiff assignments in novice events, but she duly struck at the third time of asking in a maiden at Ffos Las. The daughter of Frankel could be well treated from an opening mark of 78 and does have all-weather winners in the family. Island Bandit resumed his progression when narrowly denied over C&D and looks capable of another bold bid, along with Phantasy Mac, who is well berthed in stall one and has cheekpieces applied for the first time.

MR BUSTER was no match for a ready winner on his racecourse bow at Nottingham, but it was a promising effort nevertheless. Ralph Beckett's youngster, a 120,000-euro purchase, is related to some classy types and, with improvement likely, the Sea The Stars colt is fancied to come out on top. Amleto makes plenty of appeal on paper, for all that a wide draw doesn't help his chances. Village Legend is another to note.

Official ratings would suggest Candleford holds all the aces, but a chance is taken on WARREN POINT. The Charlie Appleby-trained gelding should appreciate the return to further having been slightly outpaced over 1m2f at Newbury last month, and he's open to improvement on this all-weather debut. Stowell must be of some interest on his first start for the George Boughey team, and Felix isn't out of it either.

The penny seemed to drop for PAWAPURI when winning at Yarmouth, so William Haggas' well-bred three-year-old looks capable of following up that victory here on her first start on the all-weather and handicap debut. Rozalia has been banging on the door and should be on the premises once more, while Thefastnthecurious could step forward from her recent reappearance at Yarmouth. She was returning from over a year off the track so Richard Spencer's filly is another worth keeping a close eye on.
