I thought BLENKINSOP was a big eye-catcher when fourth over two miles here when last seen back in May. There was a lot of money for him that day but he got outpaced and made a mistake just as the race was hotting up. He finished with running left and this step up in trip should prove ideal on handicap debut. He has only actually raced a handful of times so there should be plenty of improvement to come yet.

There is potential for this to be run at a good gallop and that would be ideal with both Grange Road and What About Time likely pushing forward early. I think Tiger Orchid could emerge as the main danger as he showed a good attitude to win by a neck here last time and the pair came miles clear from the rest. Rock Legend didn’t run badly when third at Fakenham and should strip fitter from that so is also respected in opposition.
