The Paul Nicholls stable have made a fantastic start to the season with them currently operating at a 36% strike rate in the previous two weeks and I expect KNOWSLEY ROAD (best priced at 7/4) to prove hard to beat on his hurdling debut. The five-year-old finished a close 2nd on his bumper debut at Exeter before winning in impressive style at Chepstow in March on his final start last season.

Knowsley Road kept on well over the 2 mile trip here that day shaping like this step up in trip to 2m3½f would suit well over hurdles. He won by 3 ½ lengths at the finish on good to soft ground and he should prove hard to beat under similar conditions in this race.
