Dollar Bae should have learned a lot from her debut over hurdles at Warwick in September and improvement could be forthcoming, with Dancingontheedge expected to do better now down in distance. However, POETIC MUSIC rated the smartest of these in bumpers, winning three times and capping it off with a commendable sixth in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival. She could take a high rank amongst the mares this season and is one to follow. Prediction : 1st Poetic Music 2nd Dollar Bae 3rd Dancingontheedge

Pavlodar and Ardbraccan were useful on the Flat and are interesting recruits to this discipline, with slight preference for the former. However, both have to prove their stamina and, with the possibility of ease in the ground, it could be worth taking them on with BALGOWAN. The former William Haggas charge won't be found wanting for stamina on his hurdling debut and has joined a yard which has excelled these past 14 months. Prediction : 1st Balgowan 2nd Pavlodar 3rd Ardbraccan

There could be more to come from Braveheart over fences after winning with ease at Exeter last month, but that race hasn't worked out and an 8lb rise will make life tougher for the Jamie Snowden inmate. A chance is taken on PRESUMING ED improving for the experience of his chase debut at Kempton and he may fare better now dropped in distance. Any money for Miladygrace on stable debut for Martin Keighley will be worth noting too.Prediction : 1st Presuming Ed 2nd Braveheart 3rd Miladygrace

ITSO FURY has shown a lot of promise and his 14-length success at Warwick created the impression there is a lot more to come. He looks progressive enough to cope with the 7lb penalty and can stride on from here. Mahon Point also tasted success over hurdles when landing a heavy-ground novice at Chepstow in January. His absence since then is a bit of a concern but he's going the right way and can play a supporting role here. However, Snipe showed a good attitude when second on his debut under Rules and is the bigger threat to the selection. Prediction : 1st Itso Fury 2nd Snipe 3rd Mahon Point
15:49 Ludlow
GALOP DU BOSC made a smooth transition from point-to-points to racing under Rules when he blitzed a small field in a conditional riders event at Chepstow last month. He won unchallenged that day and, bar one early mistake, he jumped well enough to suggest he's got a bright future ahead. Topofthecotswolds is an experienced chaser who should be sharper after his near miss at Fakenham 20 days ago. He is very capable of exploiting any weakness shown by the selection, while Trixster is also worthy of consideration. Prediction : 1st Galop Du Bosc 2nd Topofthecotswolds 3rd Trixster
16:19 Ludlow
Chives has won four of his eight previous starts over hurdles and is an obvious starting point for a race of this nature. However, he hasn't always looked the most fluent at his obstacles and could be worth taking on with BALLINTUBBER BOY. The selection won well at Stratford last month, despite jumping out to the right on several occasions. Therefore, the switch to a right-handed course is a logical move. Rock Legend, who wears cheekpieces for the first time, is another to have on your side. Prediction : 1st Ballintubber Boy 2nd Chives 3rd Rock Legend
