Unbeaten mare LADY ADARE was set to run last week but she was pulled out so perhaps they have been waiting for some softer ground. She was impressive at Taunton when last seen bounding clear by 16 lengths at the finish but she was entitled to go and do that. She will have to improve back from 8 months off now handicapping but I see no reason why she won’t here. She brings a lot of potential to the table and looks sure to go close. Mayhem Mya ran a cracker when third to Love Envoi last season before failing to fire at the Festival in March. She could still have more to come as well so rates the danger. Bon Retour is on a hat-trick but is up 7lb and tackling softer ground now. Flash The Steel rolled back the years to win at Fontwell but back up 6lb this will be tougher.

The hat-trick may well be on the cards for the likeable CHARM OFFENSIVE on her return. She showed a great attitude to finally open her account in testing conditions over C&D and then backed that up in a competitive race over slightly further here staying on strongly when last seen back in March. She is up 4lb but with confidence high she should take a bit of stopping here. This isn’t overly competitive with the main danger probably Eternally Yours. She could only finish fourth on return last month so will at least have fitness on side but needs to better that to stop the favourite going in. Starlyte makes her debut for Lucinda Russell so would need a market check but I’m not convinced by her overall profile. Millarville is another one worth noting but needs to produce her best.
